Company Description
Our client is a well-established property management company with over 50 years of history and success. They are looking for a “Live-In” Superintendent, Building Manager or Resident Manager to join their organization in a highly sought after neighborhood in Brampton. In this role, you will be responsible for property maintenance including building mechanical systems, administrative duties, showing of vacant suites, and supporting the cleaning team.

Compensation
$28,000 – 35,000* annually, plus 2-bedroom apartment, benefits, and other great perks!

Position Description
As the successful candidates, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Ensuring tenant requests are fulfilled and dealt with in a timely manner
- Responsible for building maintenance and repairs
- Minor electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs
- Conducting a daily walk-through of the property to ensure all building systems are functioning, updating log books, etc.
- Respond to after-hour emergencies
- Trash removal and supporting the contract cleaners to ensure the building is always presentable
- Showing of vacant suites as required
Experience
- Have experience as a “Live-In” Building Manager within High Rise residential/rental property
- Experience managing at least 100 units
- Have strong communication skills and able to manage client relationships
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to think on your feet
- Must have strong maintenance skills
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Superintendent/Maintenance Technician/Resident Manager/Building Manager.
Education
Post-secondary education in any field an asset.
