Role Description The French Teacher will provide part-time, on-site instruction at our Montreal, QC location, working with students who have diverse learning profiles and needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging French lessons, adapting materials and teaching strategies to individual learning challenges, and providing remedial French support and tutoring aligned with school curricula. The role involves assessing student progress, maintaining clear records, and communicating regularly with clinic staff and families to ensure consistent support. The French Teacher will also collaborate with other educators to refine instructional approaches and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in French Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to differentiate instruction for students with varied learning challenges.
- Experience in Tutoring and Education, particularly in supporting learners who require remedial or individualized academic support.
- Background in Teacher Training or professional development related to special education, learning differences, or language instruction is an asset.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French; functional English communication skills to collaborate with staff and families.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Education, French language, Linguistics, or a closely related field.
- Experience working with students with learning difficulties, attention issues, or executive function challenges in small-group or one-to-one settings.
- Strong organizational skills, patience, and the ability to create a supportive and structured classroom environment.
- Availability to work part-time on-site in Montreal, QC, and commitment to upholding an inclusive and non-discriminatory learning atmosphere.
