In this role, you are responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing business applications to ensure they meet organizational needs. This role works closely with end users, vendors and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze business requirements, configure system enhancements, and support application upgrades and implementations. The Applications Analyst provides ongoing system support, user training, documentation, and testing while helping identify opportunities for process improvement and increased application efficiency.
What you’ll get to do:
- Ensure assigned applications consistently deliver business outcomes by monitoring performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing changes that enhance efficiency and member experience
- Analyze applications and system gaps, recommending configurations, process changes, or workarounds to maintain operational continuity
- Coordinate configuration, testing, and deployment of new features, upgrades, and releases.
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm business requirements are met.
- Serve as first point of contact for issues reported to Helpdesk, collaborating with vendors and staff to troubleshoot, find resolution and create workarounds when required
- Deliver targeted training and materials for end users to promote best practices and adoption of technology
- Maintain strong vendor relationships, participating in feature reviews, roadmap planning, and utilization workshops
We are looking for someone with:
- A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field or related discipline
- Experience with requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and end user support
- Proven ability to problem-solve and make recommendations
- Working knowledge of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, Microsoft 365 applications, is considered an asset. Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to FISERV DNA, DOXIM CEM, and VeriPark VeriChannel
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

This is a remote work opportunity, however, some travel to Stride Credit Union branches will be required based on business needs. The successful candidate must live in Manitoba and be willing to work in-branch as required.
