STRIVE is a Vancouver-based recruitment firm offering recruitment solutions in the specialist areas of Accounting Finance, Construction, Corporate Administration, Operations, and Technology. Our proactive recruitment approach allows us to uncover high-caliber professionals for niche, specialized, and what are often regarded as "hard to fill" roles. As a company in the process of expanding their team, they are looking for an Administrative Assistant to contribute to their continued growth and success.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the office, ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and in an organized manner. This role serves as the first point of contact for incoming communications for the insurance offices and properties and plays a key part in maintaining structure, responsiveness, and overall office functionality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping things in order.

Responsibilities

Manage all incoming calls and emails, responding where appropriate and directing inquiries to the relevant team members
Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems, including ongoing document management and upkeep of the filing room
Perform administrative duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and document preparation with accuracy and attention to detail
Support general office operations, including managing boardrooms, coordinating cleaning, and ensuring the office is presentable and functional at all times
Oversee office supplies and equipment, including ordering, restocking, and coordinating maintenance (e.g., printers, coffee machines, water, etc.)
