  • Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice coding, matching, and vendor reconciliations
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Coordinate invoice approvals and collaborate across teams to resolve discrepancies and accounting issues
  • Maintain schedules of rents and assist with lease administration tracking and communication to tenants
  • Prepare CAM reconciliations and support tenant recoveries and operating cost allocations
  • Create and maintain adjusting journal entries for all properties including but not limited to amortization, debt, prepaids, deferred rent and property taxes
  • Review and price-check invoices against contracts, budgets, and approved agreements
  • Assist with year-end processes, including FS preparation support and working paper preparation
  • Support system implementations and continuous improvement of accounting processes
  • Manage construction-related accounting, including subcontractor draws, progress billings, holdbacks, and job cost reports
  • Provide general accounting and administrative support as required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of full-cycle accounting experience in real estate development, property management, or construction
  • Strong experience with rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, and/or construction accounting (AP, draws, holdbacks) is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills; experience with Yardi is an asset
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong prioritization skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
