The Role

Our client is seeking a friendly, organized and dependable Temporary Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to provide coverage and general administrative support for a two-week assignment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional office environment and can quickly step in and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
Monitor and respond to emails and other correspondence as required.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office team.
Complete data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, document preparation and other office tasks.
Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
Assist with scheduling, coordinating appointments and other administrative requests.
Maintain an organized and professional reception and office area.
Support the team with additional administrative duties as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a reception, administrative assistant or office support role is preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook, is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are important.
The ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment is required.
A professional, friendly and dependable approach is essential.
Candidates must be available for the full temporary assignment from October 6–17, 2026.
Transit is not accessible for this location - onsite parking is provided.

Location: Delta, BC

Pay: $20–$22/hour

Duration: October 6–17, 2026

Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
