Original job description

General Labourer - Night Shift

Location: Harley, ON (between Brantford and Woodstock)

Schedule: Four 12-hour night shifts per week, scheduled Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 p.m. and finishing at approximately 5:00 a.m.

Night shift premium: An extra $3.50 per hour

Prefer working nights? Like staying active and seeing what you’ve made at the end of a shift? You might fit right in at Stubbe’s.

We’re a family-owned company that’s been making concrete products for more than 40 years. We’re looking for reliable people to join our Drycast Products and Hollowcore night shift teams in Harley. You’ll work alongside a crew that knows how to get the job done and is ready to help you learn.

What will you be doing?

It Depends On Which Team You Join

Drycast Products: You’ll prepare molds, place steel reinforcement, help fill and compact the concrete, and finish and stack products.

Hollowcore: You’ll prepare the production area, pull strand before tensioning, help run production equipment, and measure and cut products to the right specifications.

Both roles involve hands-on work, checking quality, and keeping safety at the centre of what you do. You’ll be on your feet in a busy indoor plant, working with your team to keep production moving.

What We Are Looking For

Show up ready to work and can be counted on by your team.
Enjoy physical work and can lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay attention to the details and take safety seriously.
Are willing to learn and pitch in where needed.

Experience with concrete or manufacturing is an asset. For Hollowcore, knowing how to read drawings and use a tape measure is also an asset.

What’s in it for you?

An extra $3.50 per hour for working nights
Four 12-hour shifts per week, plus paid overtime
Steady work year-round
Medical benefits and a Group RRSP matching program
Work boot and clothing allowances
Opportunities to learn new skills and grow at Stubbe’s

How To Apply

Please submit resume, along with your wage expectations and shift you are interested in.

Stubbe's is committed to providing accommodations to those individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process. Upon request, we will work together to meet any of your accommodation needs.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist in screening and assessing candidates based on job-related criteria. All AI-supported evaluations are reviewed by human decision-makers.

We look forward to hearing from you!
