Interior Designer - Intermediate | Senior

Role Description The Interior Designer – Intermediate | Senior will contribute to all phases of interior design projects, from concept development to construction documentation and installation. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing space plans, producing drawings, selecting finishes and FF&E, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and supporting client presentations. The role also involves participating in design reviews, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines, and maintaining design quality standards. This is a contract, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with work-from-home flexibility to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Design Phases and Space Planning for workplace, retail, and commercial environments.
• Knowledge of Architecture and the understanding of building systems and codes relevant to interior projects.
• Proficiency in producing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for tender and construction.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
• Advanced proficiency in design and drafting software (REVIT, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate within a boutique studio setting.
• Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills for client presentations and stakeholder coordination.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline; relevant professional experience at the intermediate or senior level.
