Original job description

Who we are
SuiteSpot is a PropTech company transforming how residential real estate is managed and operated at scale. Our award-winning Maintenance and Capital SaaS solutions serve the top 50 multifamily property management operators in North America, helping them streamline operations across hundreds of thousands of units.

We move fast, ship real solutions, and measure ourselves by customer outcomes. Our engineering team operates with high autonomy and direct customer impact. We live by P.I.E. - Passion, Integrity, and Execution - and look for people who do the same.

Who we need
As a Technical Implementation Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful onboarding of new clients onto our SaaS platform. You will be responsible for the technical aspects of the implementation process, ensuring seamless integration and a smooth transition for our customers. This involves understanding client requirements, configuring our software, managing data migration, and providing technical guidance.

What you will focus on

Client Onboarding: Manage the technical implementation process for new customers, from kickoff to go-live. Autonomously lead the end-to-end onboarding and project management for smaller-scale accounts, serving as the primary point of contact when a dedicated CSM is not assigned.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements, business needs, and workflows.
System Configuration: Configure and customize our SaaS platform to meet specific customer requirements.
Data Migration: Oversee data migration from customer systems to our platform, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Integration: Facilitate integrations with other customers systems (e.g., CRM, ERP) using APIs or other integration methods.
Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and support to customers throughout the implementation process.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during implementation and post-launch.
Technical Support: Respond to incidents and provide Level 2 technical assistance to end-users.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the implementation process, including configurations, and workflows.
Training: Conduct technical training sessions for customers to ensure they can effectively use our platform.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Product Development, to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation process.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve our implementation processes and methodologies.
Customer Retention: Identify expansion and upsell opportunities in partnership with our Sales and Customer Success teams.

Who you are

You quickly learn new technologies and explain software simply to customers. You understand complex needs and how our software can help. With excellent communication, you clearly convey ideas and actively listen. You prioritize effectively, constantly seek improvement, and are motivated by the success of others. A strong team player with integrity, you are confident and passionate about your impactful work. You are highly organized, possess a strong project management mindset, and comfortably pivot from technical expert to independent project leader when small accounts require it.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in a technical implementation role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Experience with system configuration, data migration, and integration.
Proficiency in APIs, MongoDB/NoSQL databases, scripting languages (Python, JavaScript), web technologies (HTML, CSS), etc.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of managing projects or client onboardings independently.

Why join?

SuiteSpot is a fun place to work, dedicated to solving problems with resilient and scalable solutions. We have a reputation for meeting our customer’s needs, building innovative features and functionality, and supporting integrations and implementation far beyond the go-live.

We're a small team without big egos, willing to contribute wherever needed. We hold our values – passion, integrity, and execution – in high regard, taking ownership and accountability for our individual impact, expanding our knowledge, and advocating for change and each other. We take our work very seriously but never take ourselves too seriously. Our company culture promotes ongoing learning and team building. We bring people together a few times a month to discuss deliverables and individual professional development goals and to connect at social events.

At SuiteSpot, we embrace the whole person and offer flexible, remote working options, a competitive compensation package, and a comprehensive benefits package that starts on day one.

Remote work with a preferred location in Toronto, ON

SuiteSpot welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Should you require accommodations in any part of the interview process, please contact us at careers@suitespottechnology.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Only qualified candidates will be contacted directly.
