About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tendering Engineer to act as a high-level technical lead and strategic partner to management. You will be the central pivot point for the bidding process, balancing technical accuracy with commercial strategy while facilitating complex global communication between regional and international stakeholders. This role requires a candidate capable of driving strategic business decisions while mentoring junior staff and managing day-to-day technical tenders.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quotations for major projects in close coordination with sales personnel, regional managers, distributors, representatives, and alliance managers.
Assist management with major project tender signoffs as required by the company’s Delegation of Authority (DoA) framework.
Propose innovative solutions to clients based on your extensive technical expertise and seniority to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Supervise the activities of Application Engineers I and II, providing guidance to ensure team alignment, productivity, and professional growth.
Act as the critical bridge between Sales, internal operations, project management, and factories located outside the PU NAM region.
Actively support the achievement of regional sales plan objectives through technical proposal excellence.
Analyze customer specifications, define scope, evaluate "buy-out" components (e.g., seals, couplings, actuators), and manage post-submission technical/commercial clarifications.
Maintain and supervise data accuracy in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce/RFT) to ensure reliable sales forecasts and workload reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Application Specialist specifically within the pump industry.
2 years of experience in group supervision or leadership activities.
Advanced proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing) is required.
Expertise in hydraulics, centrifugal pumps, and their accessories
Advanced: Microsoft Office, pump selection and costing software, and CRM (SalesForce or similar).
