Original job description

B2B Sales – Professional Services

Join a professional services organization helping Alberta businesses solve business challenges, improve performance, and achieve their strategic goals. Their team provides specialized expertise, practical solutions, and tailored services designed to create measurable value to clients across a range of industries. They are hiring a talented sales professional who is entrepreneurial, results-driven, and passionate about helping businesses of all shapes and sizes succeed.

In this role you will drive new business and grow existing accounts. This is a full-cycle sales role selling high-value, specialized services to business owners, executives, and senior decision-makers, using a consultative sales approach to understand their challenges and position services that deliver meaningful business value. This opportunity is ideal for a sales professional who understands that selling professional services is about building trust, demonstrating expertise, and delivering strategic solutions, not simply closing a transaction. You should be confident prospecting, comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers, and highly motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Develop new business via cold calling, email outreach, networking, and prospecting activities
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Connect with business owners and senior decision-makers to understand needs and challenges
Conduct discovery meetings and strategy calls using a consultative, solution-focused approach
Clearly communicate the value of professional services and business solutions
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting through negotiation and close
Develop long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth
Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting information in the CRM
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue targets

Qualifications include post-secondary degree (ideally business related) and 2-3 years of B2B sales experience with proven success with outbound prospecting and engaging directly with business owners, executives, and senior decision-makers. Preference for candidates selling professional services such as business consulting, corporate training, content marketing, financial advisory, managed services, or similar solutions. This is a hybrid work model based out of a centrally located office with onsite parking provided.

Compensation includes a base salary and uncapped commission with first-year total earning potential of $100-$125K+, company health benefits, company cell phone, and all the technology and tools required for success.

Please send your resume for immediate consideration to kelly@summitsearchgroup.com.
