Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, and operations teams to support customer requirements
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and international business functions
Conduct regular customer visits across Canada, the United States, Europe, Japan, Australia, and other key markets
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging market opportunities
Contribute to strategic planning and future sales team development initiatives
Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and pipeline information

Proven business development and relationship management capabilities
Strong sales acumen with experience balancing both new business development and account growth
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to develop relationships with executive-level customers, distributors, and key stakeholders
Strong commercial and strategic thinking abilities
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments

Ability to learn and communicate technical products and solutions
Strong problem-solving capabilities and business judgment

Education and Experience:

Minimum 5 years of progressive business development, account management, sales leadership, or strategic sales experience
Demonstrated success managing large customer relationships and developing new business opportunities
Experience working with distributors, channel partners, buying groups, manufacturing customers, or industrial products is strongly preferred
Experience within construction products, fasteners, tools, manufacturing, industrial distribution, building materials, or related sectors would be considered an asset
