My client is a leading HVAC distributor specializing in high-efficiency heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and residential and commercial HVAC solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Manager / Senior Manager to strengthen their technical support capabilities in Quebec and Eastern Canada.
What you should expect:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for residential and commercial HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, air conditioners, gas furnaces, rooftop units (RTUs), and VRF systems.
- Assist contractors and distributors with equipment selection, installation, commissioning, system performance, and warranty issues.
- Conduct in-person and virtual technical training sessions in French and English.
- Work closely with the engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
- Support new product testing, launches, certifications, and compliance with Canadian and Quebec requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for the Quebec market.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Help develop and manage Kinghome's technical service capabilities and service partner network in Quebec.
What you should bring:
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC technical experience, covering residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
- Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken (mandatory).
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of refrigeration, electrical controls, and HVAC system applications.
- Experience with heat pumps, RTUs, and VRF systems is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting HVAC contractors, distributors, or manufacturers.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Experience delivering technical training is preferred.
- Familiarity with AHRI, ENERGY STAR, NRCan, and Quebec rebate programs is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Quebec.
