Territory Sales Representative – BC & Alberta
Mobility Equipment | Dealer Development | Outside Sales
Location: Alberta preferred; British Columbia considered | Territory: BC and Alberta
Compensation: Competitive base salary and performance-based earning opportunity; package tailored to experience.
The Opportunity
Summit Search Group is recruiting on behalf of Movo-Go, a supplier of quality mobility products, for a Territory Sales Representative to develop and grow its dealer network across British Columbia and Alberta. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven sales opportunity for someone who understands the mobility and home-health equipment market, enjoys building dealer partnerships, and is comfortable spending time in the field.
The territory has existing dealer relationships and significant room for growth. The successful candidate will strengthen current accounts, open new dealer opportunities, train retail teams, and help dealers confidently recommend the right products to their customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a territory covering British Columbia and Alberta, with a focus on mobility-equipment and home-health dealers.
- Develop relationships with dealer owners, buyers and sales teams; identify new accounts and expand business with existing partners.
- Conduct in-person product demonstrations and training on mobility scooters, power chairs, rollators and other mobility products.
- Help dealers understand product features, positioning and advantages; support initial stocking decisions and repeat orders.
- Plan effective sales routes, follow up consistently, and manage opportunities through to purchase orders.
- Coordinate the transportation, setup and demonstration of equipment during dealer visits, particularly when introducing larger scooter models.
- Represent Movo-Go professionally and provide market feedback on dealer needs, competitors and opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven outside/B2B sales experience in mobility scooters, power chairs, wheelchairs or closely related home-health equipment.
- Established relationships with mobility and home-health dealers in BC and/or Alberta are a significant advantage.
- Candidates selling related products into the same dealer network will also be considered if they demonstrate strong sales ability and the willingness to learn.
- A self-directed, energetic salesperson who can open doors, build trust and follow through.
- Confidence presenting and demonstrating products, training dealer teams and discussing competitive positioning.
- Comfort with regular overnight travel and the practical work involved in transporting and demonstrating equipment.
- Strong organization, route planning and relationship-management skills.
Travel & Practical Requirements
Travel is a meaningful part of this role, particularly during the main spring and early-summer selling season (approximately March through July). The first few months will involve intensive dealer visits and demonstrations across both provinces. The position requires someone comfortable using ramps and a suitable vehicle to load, unload, position and demonstrate powered mobility scooters. Large scooters generally move under their own power on ramps, but equipment handling, setup and logistical problem-solving are part of the job. Vehicle arrangements will be discussed with the successful candidate.
Why Consider Movo-Go?
- An established product offering with a strong focus on quality and dealer support.
- An opportunity to build a larger presence in two attractive western Canadian markets.
- Autonomy to manage your territory and develop long-term dealer partnerships.
- A compensation approach intended to reward strong sales performance, with flexibility for proven industry talent.
- A growing portfolio that includes mobility scooters and complementary mobility products.
