· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both internal and external

· Eager to learn, teachable, and motivated to grow into a Bookkeeper role
· Someone who inherently lives values like trust, ownership, and looking out for clients
Where This Role Leads
SummitPath uses a defined leadership pipeline - Junior Bookkeeper, Bookkeeper, Senior Bookkeeper, Bookkeeping Lead - so you always know what the next step looks like and what it takes to get there. Each level builds on the one before it.
With roughly a year of experience, Junior Bookkeepers typically progress to Bookkeeper: working with minimal oversight, making adjusting journal entries, reconciling independently, processing payroll, and completing GST/HST reconciliations. We review your progress against the pipeline semi-annually.
What We Offer
· Salary range: $42,000–$50,000, based on experience
· Vacation: two weeks
· Health Care Spending Account: $2,500
