ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

Calgary, AB | On-Site | Part-Time, up to 30 hours/week | Monday – Friday

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our Calgary team.

This is a varied, all-round office role. You’ll be the friendly first point of contact for customers who call or visit, keep service requests and sales orders moving, and help our Office Administrator with day-to-day invoicing, payments, and paperwork. You’ll get hands-on training and see how every side of a busy branch runs. If you enjoy helping people, like numbers as much as conversations, and want variety in your day, this could be a great fit.

About the hours: this is a part-time position of up to 30 hours per week, with the potential for full-time hours during our busy season.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Front Office & Customer Service

Answer phones, greet walk-in customers and visitors, and respond to general email inquiries

Route questions to the right person on the sales, service, or project team

Keep the front office and showroom tidy and welcoming

Service & Sales Support

Manage the service board: enter new service requests, keep statuses up to date, and keep customers informed

Enter sales orders and customer information accurately in our systems

Office & Accounting Support

Support with invoicing, taking customer payments, and preparing deposits

Enter vendor invoices, receipts, and expense paperwork

Collect employee timesheets and follow up on missing ones

Handle filing, scanning, office supplies, and general recordkeeping

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

1+ year of experience in reception, customer service, or office administration

Comfortable with basic bookkeeping tasks like data entry, invoices, and payments

Friendly, professional phone and in-person manner

Organized and detail-oriented, with accurate data entry

Comfortable with Microsoft Office, email, and learning new software

Able to juggle several tasks and stay calm when it’s busy

Reliable, available Monday to Friday, and comfortable with hours that change with the season

Experience with QuickBooks, Method, Converge, or Monday.com is an asset

Experience in construction, home improvement, or the trades is an asset

WHAT WE OFFER
