Working closely with maintenance coordinators, planners, supervisors, and operations teams, you will develop and maintain short- and medium-term maintenance schedules that maximize resource utilization, support safe and reliable operations, and ensure critical work is completed on time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing priorities, analyzing workload capacity, and collaborating across multiple stakeholders in a dynamic industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Less than 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability, or a related role within the oil and gas, industrial, or manufacturing sector
  • Post-secondary education in a trade, technical, engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferably SAP
  • Experience supporting maintenance, field operations, projects, or reliability activities in a multidisciplinary industrial environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization

Don’t have all the qualifications listed? That’s ok! Apply anyway. We acknowledge the value of transferable skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules with a minimum three-week planning horizon, ensuring work is aligned with operational priorities
  • Coordinate maintenance resources and workforce capacity to support scheduled work and optimize resource utilization
  • Review released work orders and integrate approved maintenance activities into short- and medium-term schedules.
  • Balance schedules by identifying capacity constraints, workload issues, and scheduling risks, and work with stakeholders to resolve them
  • Incorporate critical and high-priority work into maintenance plans using a risk-based approach and established maintenance priorities
  • Prepare, update, and manage weekly maintenance schedules while ensuring schedule changes are accurately communicated and documented
  • Maintain schedule-related information and risk data within SAP and escalate concerns that may impact key deadlines or commitments
  • Coordinate schedule approvals and communicate final schedules to maintenance, operations, and planning teams
