Minimum requirements:

7 to 10 years of progressive IT operations experience, with a focus on end-user services, endpoint management, or digital workplace operations
3+ years of hands-on experience managing devices and users through Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management solutions
Degree, diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong technical knowledge of end user computing operations, including Windows operating systems, modern endpoint management (Intune/MEM), application packaging, imaging/provisioning (Autopilot), and endpoint patching and security compliance
Experience supporting industrial, field-based, or operational environments such as oil and gas, utilities, or manufacturing is considered an asset
ITIL Foundation and Microsoft endpoint/M365 certifications (MD-102, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) are considered assets

Responsibility:

Own the digital employee experience at the point of use: monitor endpoint and experience telemetry, identify friction, and drive proactive and preventative resolution before user impact
Manage and support modern endpoint technologies, including Windows, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, application deployment, patching, and device compliance
Work with stakeholders across D&IT to implement and support security policies across the hardware fleet, including Windows CSPs and Mobile Application policies (MAM)
Design, implement, and support kiosk and frontline technology solutions across Windows, Android, and iOS platforms
Drive automation, self-service, self-healing, and shift-left initiatives to improve service delivery and reduce support demand
Partner with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to maintain endpoint security, patch compliance, and adherence to enterprise policies
Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex end-user computing issues, leading root cause analysis and long-term solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, executive stakeholders and service providers to deliver effective incident, problem, change, and asset management practices, including planning and testing of emergency response procedures
Evaluate emerging technologies, support models, and hardware standards to enhance workplace productivity and optimize the employee technology experience

Location and other details:

This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
This position requires occasional travel
