About The Role

As a Data Analyst at The Battle of Giants, you will be at the forefront of analyzing and interpreting complex datasets related to corporate growth initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to generate meaningful insights that compare companies' strategies and performance against competitors, helping clients understand their market positioning and future prospects. This role involves a combination of analytical rigor and storytelling, requiring you to perform extensive research, data cleaning, and visualization to communicate findings effectively. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including data engineers, developers, and fellow analysts, to transform raw data into strategic intelligence. Your work will directly influence decision-making processes and strategic planning for our clients, making this a highly impactful and dynamic position.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
Proven experience in data analysis and visualization
Strong understanding of corporate strategy and economic principles
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools
Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or equivalent
Excellent research, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate complex insights clearly and effectively
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in ambiguous environments
Experience working with machine learning algorithms is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive data analysis to benchmark management performance and growth strategies
Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis and visualization
Develop and improve data features for machine learning models
Visualize data insights through dashboards and reports to facilitate decision-making
Research and identify relevant data sources to enhance analysis quality
Craft compelling narratives around data findings to communicate insights effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address analytical challenges and optimize solutions
Identify core elements of investigative stories and filter out irrelevant information
Ensure insights are actionable and tailored to client needs
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging analytical tools to continually improve processes
