Responsibilities
Transport patients safely and promptly to appointments and other hospital locations, assisting with transfers and remaining with patients during procedures when required. Handle specimens and patient-related materials, maintain transport equipment, respond to emergency codes, and perform other assigned duties across campuses.
Requirements
Successful completion of secondary school, computer application proficiency, and at least one year of experience interacting with patients in a healthcare setting are required. Recent patient transport porter experience is preferred, along with the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and meet the physical demands of the role.
