Responsibilities
Transport patients safely and promptly between hospital locations, assisting with transfers and remaining with patients during examinations or treatment when required. Handle specimens and patient-related materials, document transport details, maintain clean and safe equipment, respond to assigned emergency codes, and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
Secondary school completion and proficiency with computer applications are required, along with at least one year of experience interacting with patients in a healthcare setting. Recent patient transport porter experience is preferred; candidates must also be able to work with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, manage pressure and multiple tasks, and meet the physical demands of the role.
