Responsibilities
Prepare surgical case carts for routine, specialized, and emergency situations, and operate decontamination and sterilization equipment. Prepare and package sterile instruments and supplies while meeting quality indicators, and deliver and pick up supplies.
Requirements
An approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate and prior instrumentation experience are required; previous Technician II experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing Centre is essential and will receive priority. Candidates should have broad knowledge of surgical services and complex instrumentation, with strong case cart preparation, organizational, teamwork, problem-solving, and computer skills; operating room technical experience is preferred.
