Job description

Sunshine Coast Health Centre (SCHC) and Georgia Strait Women's Clinic (GSWC) are an ever-growing organization currently with 34 inpatient beds for men and 10 for women receiving treatment for addictions, mental health, and trauma. SCHC/GSWC values being a part of a growing wave of progressive, inclusive, and pioneering employers and mental health facilities that prioritize the care of their clients and staff. The organization is also licensed under the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, accredited under Accreditation Canada, a Certified B Corp, and recently voted Best 2023 Employer by the Powell River Chamber of Commerce.

Our compassionate team of counsellors, doctors, nurses, support staff, and other professionals is central to SCHC's and GSWC's ability to provide effective care. Our Client Services department is an integral team that acts as the bridge between our medical and clinical departments as well as between clients and all staff.

Client Services Team Leaders provide a safe and supportive environment for clients at SCHC and GSWC. Client Services Team Leaders perform an important role for every client as a dedicated and knowledgeable support person, providing unbiased, compassionate, and empathetic care to meet our clients‘ needs while with us.
