Superior Aluminum Products in Russia, Ohio is celebrating 70 years of business supplying aluminum railing, fence, and columns for building projects across the United States. We now have an immediate need for one full-time Facilities & Operations Specialist.
Position Responsibilities
Mid-Level
EDUCATION LEVEL
High School Diploma
Experience/Certification Required
Operation of Radial Arm Saw, Miter Saw, or Band Saw and Drill Press, Basic hand tools, etc. is necessary
Ability and willingness to drive a box truck to help out with delivery or pickup in “emergency” situations is a high want/need
Strong emphasis for personal safety

Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for all building and equipment maintenance-type activities; day-to-day and periodic preventive
- Must have basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other “handy man” type skills
- Work with/manage outside contractors to complete tasks over and above typical skill set
- Basic computer skills for job tracking and communication purposes is required
- Operation of various type of forklifts and a man scissors lift is necessary for high maintenance activity is required
- Support and operational execution of R&D Activities
- Execute on the design & building steps of equipment, fixture, etc needs as identified through Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Integration of capital equipment purchases
- Assembly or Saw Coordinator activities
- Welding activities
- CNC Machine Operation & Programming
- Assignment to Production responsibilities may occur as order workload deems necessary
- Examples of daily/weekly tasks as follows:
- Maintenance and upkeep of radial arm saws, band saws, benders, drill presses, punch presses, CNC machines, lift trucks, floor scrubber, snow blower, etc.
- General building upkeep activities such as; replace/install water fountain, install ice machine, replace/install outlets, relocation of equipment, install/replace lighting and fans, build carts and racks, upkeep of furnaces and office AC unit, air compressors, assembly of work tables and fixtures, roof exhaust fans maintenance etc.
- Manage pump house (fire suppression) pumps weekly, winterization of building, etc.
- Past supervisory experience preferred. Future ability to lead people required.
