Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver & Customer Service Clerk. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving:

• Coordinate distribution activities, including order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials management to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Manage transportation logistics to optimize freight routes and reduce costs.
• Process incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
• Support demand planning by analyzing sales trends and inventory levels to forecast future needs accurately.
• Assist with process improvements by identifying bottlenecks in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations and implementing effective solutions.

Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email
• Process orders and provide product information
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with freight management and transportation logistics is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts; certification is required.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills for customer service interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in Microsoft Office
