- Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
- Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
- Repair roofing systems
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Install sheet metal flashings
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms

Responsibilities
Install and repair built-up, tile, single-ply, shingle, shake, and metal roofing systems, as well as sheet metal flashings and waterproof coatings. Erect scaffolding and other work platforms while completing roofing work at various outdoor locations.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, handle loads up to 13.5 kg, and pass a criminal record check.
