Surrey Christian School is an independent PreK–12 Christian school with elementary and secondary campuses in Surrey, BC. Our mission, Educating for Wholeness by Engaging God’s World in the Servant Way of Jesus, shapes our learning and community life.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Christian educational leader to serve as Superintendent.
Working alongside the Board, leadership team, staff, and community, the Superintendent will guide strategic direction, strengthen relationships, and help extend the reach of Christ-centred education.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant leadership experience in Christian K–12 education, including school leadership.
- A master’s degree in educational leadership or an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge, and experience.
- A BC Professional Teachers’ Certificate, transferable equivalent, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strength in strategic and relational leadership, communication, evidence-informed educational practice, business management, and systems thinking.
- A demonstrated Christ-centred life, involvement in a faith community, and alignment with SCS’s mission and vision.
COMPENSATION
Annual salary: $140,000–$180,000, based on experience and qualifications, plus comprehensive benefits, pension, and professional development.
