  • Develop opportunities in commercial and industrial operations, data centers, renewable energy, water and wastewater, oil and gas, transportation, and other critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, industry research, and strategic account development.
  • Own opportunities from initial engagement through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed annual sales quotas and bookings targets.

  • Leverage existing channel partners and identify new strategic partnerships to accelerate market penetration.

Collaborate & Execute

  • Work closely with technical, product, and pre-sales teams to develop solutions aligned with customer requirements.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop industry-specific messaging, campaigns, presentations, and customer success stories.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage sales forecasts, and provide visibility into pipeline performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to support Survalent's expansion strategy.

What You’ll Need:

Education & Qualifications

  • Sales methodology training or certification (MEDDIC, Challenger, Solution Selling, or similar) is an asset.
  • Additional training in renewable energy, energy management, or industrial automation is an advantage.

Sales Experience & Business Development

  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in technical B2B sales, with a strong emphasis on new business development and prospecting.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Proven experience managing complex, long-cycle sales opportunities and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills.
  • Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or strategic alliances.
  • Disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM practices.

Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Experience selling technology solutions into utilities, energy, industrial automation, or critical infrastructure markets is an asset.
  • Familiarity with electrical infrastructure, SCADA, grid operations, or industrial monitoring systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of renewable energy, distributed energy resources (DERs), and emerging electrification trends.
  • Ability to engage confidently with technical stakeholders, including engineers, operations leaders, and executives.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value.

Communication & Professional Skills
