Job Summary
Svaya Robotics, a global leader in
6-axis Collaborative and Humanoid Robots, is looking for a passionate
Robot Application Engineer to support the integration, testing, validation, and deployment of advanced robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in robot programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, system integration, and customer support, with a strong understanding of robotics, automation, and industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and validate robotic systems for industrial and real-world applications.
- Program, configure, and commission robotic systems based on application requirements.
- Perform robot simulations, trajectory validation, and system-level performance testing.
- Integrate robots with industrial sensors, including area scanners, reed switches, solenoid switches, proximity sensors, and other automation devices.
- Configure and integrate PLCs, robot controllers, actuators, servo drives, motor drives, and electrical control panels.
- Develop and execute test plans, validation procedures, and performance evaluation methods for robotic systems.
- Perform robot installation, commissioning, field testing, and customer-site deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and integration-related issues during development and deployment.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable robotic solutions and system configurations.
- Support customer demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), technical presentations, and application validations.
- Select and integrate pneumatic components such as cylinders, solenoid valves, FRL units, flow control valves, pressure regulators, fittings, and tubing based on application requirements.
- Design and implement pneumatic systems for robotic and industrial automation applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors to ensure successful project execution and continuous product improvement.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, installation manuals, and project records.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with industrial robot programming, integration, and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of robot kinematics, robotic motion, and automation systems.
- Experience with robot simulation tools such as RoboDK or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PLCs, industrial sensors, pneumatic systems, actuators, and electrical control panels.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and system integration issues.
- Good understanding of industrial communication protocols and automation concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel for customer support, installation, commissioning, and field service activities.

- Experience with industrial robots such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Universal Robots (UR), Yaskawa, or Kawasaki, etc.
- Exposure to ROS/ROS2, Python, or C/C++ programming for robotics applications.
- Familiarity with RoboDK, RoboGuide, RobotStudio, KUKA.Sim, or other offline programming/simulation tools.
- Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or CAN.
- Understanding of machine vision systems, camera integration, and vision-guided robotics.
- Experience with AGVs/AMRs, collaborative robots (Cobots), or humanoid robots.
- Knowledge of robot safety standards, risk assessment, and industrial automation best practices.
- Experience in factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and customer commissioning.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic circuit diagrams.
- Willingness to travel for customer installations, commissioning, and technical support.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/ Robotics Engineering
Experience: 2–6 Years
