Introduction

About SymphonyAI Financial Services

SymphonyAI Financial Services is on a mission to make the financial system safer. We combine more than 25 years of financial crime expertise with advanced AI to help financial institutions detect risk, fight financial crime, and navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

We are reimagining financial crime compliance around connected risk intelligence, agent led workflows, and embedded governance, helping institutions strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and adapt as risks evolve.

About The Role

Successful implementations depend on reliable configuration, clean data, and thoughtful technical support. That’s where you come in.

As a Technical Consultant, you’ll support the implementation and configuration of our financial crime and compliance platform across SaaS and client environments. Working from defined specifications and established runbooks, you’ll complete configuration, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation tasks while partnering with senior consultants, engineers, and client technical contacts.

You’ll also use AI and LLM tools to accelerate documentation, analysis, and troubleshooting, validating outputs before they are used. This is a hands on role for someone with strong technical fundamentals who is ready to build implementation experience and take increasing ownership of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Support client implementations. Complete assigned platform configuration, deployment, integration, and onboarding tasks under the guidance of senior consultants.
  • Configure with care. Work with Git, YAML, JSON, XML, and Helm based configurations to support applications deployed in cloud or Kubernetes environments.
  • Work with data. Write and validate SQL queries, support data mapping and transformation, and build or validate data pipeline components for customer onboarding.
  • Troubleshoot methodically. Use logs, runbooks, shell commands, and root cause analysis to resolve routine configuration, integration, and environment issues.
  • Support testing. Prepare configurations, validate technical changes, triage SIT and UAT defects, and document test results.
  • Connect systems. Support REST API integrations and assist with SAML, SSO, authentication, and basic networking configuration.
  • Put AI to work responsibly. Use AI and LLM tools for code support, documentation, prompt design, and troubleshooting while checking outputs for accuracy and relevance.
  • Document what matters. Maintain clear configuration records, implementation notes, troubleshooting guidance, and technical handover materials.
  • Partner across teams. Work with senior consultants, engineers, onboarding leads, and client technical contacts, escalating design decisions and complex issues when needed.
  • Keep delivery visible. Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and completed work clearly and on time.

You may be a good fit if you have

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in technical implementation, data engineering, technical support, or a related role.
  • Strong SQL fundamentals for querying, validating, and troubleshooting data.
  • Linux and Bash basics for navigating environments, reviewing logs, and supporting routine automation.
  • Version control experience using Git or GitHub in a collaborative environment.
  • Configuration skills with YAML, JSON, XML, and common data file formats such as CSV.
  • REST API fundamentals and an understanding of how applications exchange data.
  • Basic security and networking knowledge including SAML, SSO, authentication concepts, and common connectivity considerations.
  • Scripting ability in Python or a similar language for data and automation tasks.
  • A structured problem solving approach. You can follow specifications and runbooks, investigate routine issues, and know when to escalate.
  • Clear communication skills. You can document your work and explain technical information to internal teams and client contacts.
  • Practical AI experience. You use AI or LLM tools for documentation, code assistance, prompt design, or troubleshooting and validate responses before use.

Strong candidates may also have

  • Experience with financial crime, AML, KYC, fraud, sanctions, or compliance platforms.
  • Exposure to a cloud data platform or one major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD practices, or cloud deployment patterns.
  • Exposure to machine learning concepts, model endpoints, or AI powered product features.
  • Experience supporting SaaS onboarding, technical reviews, SIT, or UAT.
  • A cloud certification in progress or completed.
