SAP Test Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager with a strong background in SAP ECC and SAP S4 HANA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP projects, particularly in migration and end-to-end testing. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate with customers and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing efforts for SAP projects, ensuring comprehensive functional testing is conducted.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to define testing requirements and scope.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP ECC and S4 HANA implementations.
• Oversee the migration testing process, ensuring data integrity and system functionality post-migration.
• Facilitate defect management processes, including identification, tracking, and resolution of issues.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary.
• Mentor and guide junior testing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance testing environment.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in functional testing within SAP environments.
• Strong experience in SAP ECC and SAP S4 HANA.
• Hands-on experience with migration testing and end-to-end testing processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and manage testing teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Functional Knowledge

Experience across major SAP domains:

• Finance (FI/CO)
• Procure to Pay (MM)
• Order to Cash (SD)
• Asset Management
• HR / Payroll
• Supply Chain

Preferred

• Brownfield migration experience.
• Selective Data Migration validation exposure.
• SAP Cloud ALM and Solution Manager exposure.
• Rail or transportation industry experience.

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP S/4HANA Certification
