Our challenge

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products. Responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services. Candidate should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team. Ultimately, candidate will build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs.

Responsibilities:

8+ years of professional experience in software engineering or data engineering.

Previous consulting expertise with completed projects

Strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines and workflow.

Experience with Kubernetes-based cloud-native development and deployment is a plus.

Modeling skills with ontologies or UML object models

A consultant mindset: you are comfortable engaging stakeholders, scoping requirements, structuring solutions, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Excellent English communication skills - written and spoken - with the ability to present, document, and persuade across organizational boundaries; additional language skills are a plus.

Required Skills:

Must-have

Experience building stable and maintainable production-grade web applications.

Proficient with Python, .NET, JavaScript (Angular/Vue) for building production grade applications.

Experience with Python Data Manipulation libraries, Pandas/NumPy.

Excellent SQL skills for data modeling, constructing complex queries, and performance optimization.

Experience with designing complex ETL data pipelines for mission critical applications.

Proficient with AI development tools (Claude/GitHub Copilot/Cursor).

Experience with cloud-native software development, especially Microservice architecture, Docker, and OAuth2.

Strong communication skills, curiosity, and sense of empathy to effectively collaborate with investment professionals.

Intrinsic motivation to leverage your skills, experience, and creativity to help others be successful.

Passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others.

Nice-to-have

Experience with Apache Airflow, building out workflow DAGs and scheduling jobs.

Experience with developing production grade MCPs/RAG pipelines/Knowledge Systems.

Understanding of investment/trading industry, especially via experience in asset management or capital markets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in banking domain.
