mine-site, construction, and heavy-haul projects across Western Canada. Travel to job sites is part of the role.
Key Requirements
- Red Seal / Journeyman Mobile Crane Operator certification
- Current BC CraneSafe ticket
- Class 1 driver's licence with air brake endorsement
- Current commercial driver's abstract
- Hands-on mobile crane operating experience
- Comfortable with site orientations, safety compliance, and dispatch operations
Preferred
- Mine-site or industrial construction experience
- Standard First Aid CPR-C, H2S Alive, WHMIS, CSTS/PSTS, Fall Protection
- Respirator fit test
- Located in the Elkford/East Kootenays area or willing to relocate
Compensation
- $52/hour starting wage
- Double time outside regular weekday hours, including nights, weekends, and statutory holidays
- Health & dental benefits after successful 3-month probation
