Job Summary

Syntax is seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical Solution Architect to lead the overall design, architecture, and implementation of global SAP technical solutions, with a specific focus on technical capabilities. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in S/4HANA and ERP solutions to influence business strategies and drive continuous improvement within Syntax’s architecture function. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of SAP BASIS, ABAP, HANA, PI-PO, CALM, Security, and BTP, and the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the global SAP solution architecture for technical modules with long-term continuity.
Ensure architecture is aligned with business needs and technology solutions.
Design technical architecture solutions for deployment, configuration, and operations with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and resiliency.
Facilitate the design of the overall system landscape, including business needs evaluation and integration planning.
Integrate AI-first AMS capabilities into solution architecture.
Collaborate with functional SAP consultants to leverage best practices in client service and problem resolution.
Provide input to the Design Authority and chief / enterprise architects.
Maintain a strong focus on business drivers and system functionality to influence stakeholders.
Continuously improve the architecture function and uphold standards for sustainable design.

Required Qualifications

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7–12 years of experience with full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations, including integration with other SAP solutions.
Expertise in enterprise architecture and integration platforms, including APIs.
Deep knowledge of SAP software products across Public & Private Cloud and On-Prem environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to solutions.
Excellent understanding of the technical aspects of SAP, such as SAP BASIS, ABAP, HANA, PI-PO, CALM, Security, and BTP, as they relate to SAP solutions.
An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.
Proficiency in English is required for client-facing implementation activities across multiple regions.
Ability to present complex ideas clearly in both written and verbal communication.
Experience working in a high-pressure environment while managing client expectations.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
