Job Summary
- Position: Site Security Guard
- Work Location: Discovery Borden Mine, Chapleau, Ontario
- Work Setting: Mine/energy site
- Duties: Site access control, screening, surveillance, administrative duties and other duties as assigned in accordance with the operational requirements
- Work Conditions: Outside, combinations of sitting, standing and walking
- Projected Start Date: Starting on or after April 20, 2026.
- Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off and/or 14 days on, 14 days off (Days or Nights)
- Wage: $20.94 - $21.71
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- The applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada and at least 18 years old at the time of applying.
- Accommodation is provided during your rotation.
- A daily meal allowance (details to be discussed further).
Note: Travel to and from the site using your own vehicle is required.

Responsibilities
The Security Guard is responsible for site access control, screening, and surveillance at the Discovery Borden Mine. They will also perform administrative duties and other operational tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License and a valid First Aid Certificate. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada.
