JOB DESCRIPTION

Sysco Edmonton is Looking for Full-Time Order Selectors!

Join our team at our Acheson Warehouse and become part of the team that helps keep the food supply moving.

We proudly call our Order Selectors Industrial Athletes! This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role for people who enjoy staying active, challenging themselves, and finishing every shift knowing they’ve put in the work.

This isn't a desk job - it's a workout with a purpose.

Our shifts are ideal for people who prefer working outside the typical 9-to-5. Shifts generally start in the early afternoon and can run into the early morning hours.

We're looking for motivated, energetic people who enjoy being active, pushing themselves, and being part of a hardworking team.

Ready for the Challenge?

If you're ready to work hard, stay active, and become one of Sysco's Industrial Athletes, we'd love to have you on the team!

Responsibilities:

Hand-select orders within various warehouse environments with fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer areas.
Operate the Sysco Order Selection (SOS) unit to scan and create labels, ensuring labels are correctly placed on products.
Stack product on pallets following proper selecting procedures (e.g., no heavy-on-light, labels facing outward).
Frequently lift products weighing 1–75 pounds and up to 88 pounds; regularly reach, bend, and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, including retrieving items from lower shelves.
Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport product.
Stage pallets for loading at the proper dock locations.
Shrink-wrap product on the loading dock.
Follow all sanitation requirements and company policies.
Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including pallet jacks, SOS units, and personal protective equipment. Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and safely operate all mechanical equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years of age.
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as required for the role and safety regulations.
Must pass all pre-employment testing (Background Check, Physical Abilities Test).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Warehouse experience is an asset but not required.

Hours of Work

4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Start times of 3:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.

Compensation

Start: $28.82 per hour
March 2027: $29.97 per hour
After 2 Years: $35.79 per hour
After 3 Years: $38.85 per hour
After 4 Years: $ 43.86 per hour
Night shift premium: $1.30 per hour
Eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
