Civil Designer - Civil 3D proficient

Context

Systra is looking for a Civil 3D Design Specialist for the Cable Containment Design Team to join the new LRT Project in Ontario.

Missions/Main Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•  Develop and maintain Civil 3D models for grading, drainage, utilities, earthworks, roadways, parking areas, and site servicing.
•  Produce coordinated drawings, profiles, sections, details, and quantity take-offs.
•  Coordinate the civil model with the OMSF BIM Coordinator and multidisciplinary teams.
•  Perform clash detection, constructability checks, and model quality reviews.
•  Manage model standards, data references, file structures, and drawing consistency.
•  Support utility coordination and provide technical guidance to junior modelers and CAD technicians.
• Stay updated with latest communication technologies and best practices.
• Promote process improvements and innovation within the team.

Profile/Skills

Education/Experience :

•  Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or a related field.
•  Minimum 7 years of civil modelling and design experience.
•  Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surfaces, grading, corridors, pipe networks, profiles, and quantities.
•  Experience with land development, site servicing, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
•  Strong knowledge of BIM coordination, Ontario drafting standards, and quality-control processes.
