Job type: Full-time

Original job description

Help an Entire Industry Leave Legacy Software Behind

TabLogs is the leading software and Ai platform for geotechnical and environmental field data. Engineers use us to capture borehole, test pit and groundwater data, build logs, cross-sections and 3D models, and get reports out the door. Over a million boreholes logged across 10+ countries. Early-stage, venture-backed, and growing fast.

The Role

We have a ton of momentum right now, and you'll be supporting that by booking meetings with consultancies across North America, from owners of smaller regional consultancies to Directors/VPs of the largest consultancies in NA. You'll join our Founding BDR and work closely with another AE in person at the Vancouver Waterfront WeWork.

What You'll Do

Generate pipeline through cold calls, LinkedIn and email into new logos
Expand existing customers from one office to enterprise deals
Run sharp discovery by learning the field logging workflow well enough to talk shop with engineers
Improve the playbook by supporting teammates with best practices (and learn theirs) in a collaborative team environment
Build and experiment with AI, automations and new prospecting tools

What You Bring

Proven outbound sales experience and a track record of hitting/exceeding targets
Outbound experience running campaigns, building lists, writing copy, and experimenting with new approaches to get in front of prospects.
Technical Acumen - We don’t expect you to come from an engineering background, but we’re looking for someone excited to “get their hands dirty” learning about geotechnical and environmental engineering and related complex topics.
You are resilient, self-motivated, and have real curiosity to learn about our customers' industry and the work they do
Comfort with CRM and sales tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Instantly or similar)
Genuine interest and excitement in the use of AI and making it a part of your day-to-day
A hunger to sell, grow revenue, and earn great money while doing it all

Nice To Have's

Background in civil, geotech, environmental, mining, oil & gas, or engineering software (ex. CAD and GIS)
Experience using AI tools, creating automations, and using AI to improve how you work
Professional services or enterprise sales experience

Why TabLogs

Path to AE within a year for the right person
Work with a young team that moves fast and celebrates our wins
Ownership of your territory and how you work it
Access to leadership, AEs and the product team
TabLogs is AI-first and constantly looking for ways AI can help us do our jobs better. We encourage our team to learn and experiment with AI and find new ways it can improve the team
Travel to conferences across Canada and the US, and time with our Denver team

How We Work

Hybrid, 3 days a week at the Waterfront WeWork in downtown Vancouver, side by side with your fellow Founding BDR and another AE. Our hubs are in Vancouver, Denver and Brisbane.

Not ticking every box? Apply anyway and tell us why you'd be great. If there's anything we can do to make our hiring process more accessible, let us know.
