Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Power Platform Developer based in Edmonton, AB, with opportunities for partial remote work. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint(SPFx) and Power BI. Responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, creating custom workflows and business processes, integrating with external systems, and troubleshooting technical issues. The candidate will also be tasked with optimizing applications to ensure high performance and scalability, as well as staying updated on the latest Power Platform features.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Experience with systems integration, APIs, and connecting multiple data sources
- Strong understanding of application development lifecycle and process automation
- Skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging technical issues
- Proficiency with programming languages, such as SPFx, JavaScript and C#, and familiarity with SQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus
- Microsoft Power Platform or other relevant certifications are an advantage
