Original job description

WHO WE ARE

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. is a leading developer, publisher, and marketer of interactive entertainment for consumers around the globe. The Company develops and publishes products principally through Rockstar Games, 2K, Private Division, and Zynga. Our products are currently designed for console gaming systems, PC, and Mobile, including smartphones and tablets, and are delivered through physical retail, digital download, online platforms, and cloud streaming services. The Company’s common stock is publicly traded on NASDAQ under the symbol TTWO.

While our offices (physical and virtual) are casual and inviting, we are deeply committed to our core tenets of creativity, innovation and efficiency, and individual and team development opportunities. Our industry and business are continually evolving and fast-paced, providing numerous opportunities to learn and hone your skills. We work hard, but we also like to have fun and believe that we provide a great place to come to work each day to pursue your passions.

THE CHALLENGE

We are looking for a Security Operations Engineer to support, maintain, and contribute to our Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform. In this role, you'll work closely with senior/lead engineers and play an active part in expanding our security automation capabilities. You will gain hands-on experience with a diverse set of technologies, including various security tools, APIs, and cloud services, helping to streamline our security operations and enhance our incident response efficiency. Your daily efforts will directly contribute to safeguarding Take-Two and its labels' systems, networks, and data.

You will work with Take-Two's Information Security teams, reporting to the Director of Security Operations Engineering.

WHAT YOU’LL TAKE ON

SOAR Platform Support: Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of SOAR playbooks, workflows, and integrations under the guidance of senior team members.
Automation Execution: Help identify repetitive, manual tasks within security operations and work to implement automated solutions that improve response speeds.
Collaboration and Learning: Partner with other security analysts to understand their workflows, acting as a collaborative peer while actively developing your own technical skills.
Documentation and Maintenance: Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for automation workflows, scripts, and tool integrations.
System Health: Assist with basic SOAR platform maintenance, routine updates, tool migrations, and logging system changes

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a Security Engineering level role. Previous experience working as a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst or IT support technician is a strong plus.
Technical Foundational Knowledge: A solid understanding of core security concepts and exposure to how tools like SOAR, SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms operate.
Scripting Skills: Foundational scripting skills in Python (or similar languages) with the ability to read, troubleshoot, and write basic scripts for API integrations.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a natural curiosity for breaking down manual workflows into logical, step-by-step processes.
Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical workflows accurately and collaborate effectively with teammates.

Great to Have

Certifications: Entry-to-intermediate industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), or GSEC.
Tool Exposure: Familiarity or academic/lab experience with a leading SOAR platform (such as Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR, Tines, or Splunk SOAR).
Additional Scripting: Exposure to programming and scripting languages like Go, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
Security Frameworks: Basic familiarity with security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

Great Company Culture. Ranked as one of the most creative and innovative places to work, creativity, innovation, efficiency, diversity and philanthropy are among the core tenets of our organization and are integral drivers of our continued success.
Growth. As a global entertainment company, we pride ourselves on creating environments where employees are encouraged to be themselves, inquisitive, collaborative and to grow within and around the company.
Work Hard, Play Hard. Our employees bond, blow-off steam, and flex some creative muscles – through corporate boot camp classes, company parties, game release events, monthly socials, and team challenges.
Benefits. Medical, dental, vision, pension plan, employee stock purchase plan, commuter benefits, in-house wellness program, broad learning & development opportunities, a charitable giving platform with company match and more!
Perks. Fitness allowance, employee discount programs, free games & events, stocked pantries and the ability to earn up to $500+ per year for taking care of yourself and more.

The pay range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $71,400 and $105,660 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company’s discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses. The use of Artificial Intelligence is not being used to screen candidates. The position is for an existing vacancy.
