Job Description

Reporting to BDR manager and part of the marketing team, the Business Development Representative will play a strategic role in initiating discussions with potential clients through multi-channel prospecting activities (cold calling, emails, LinkedIn) to generate qualified opportunities for Account Managers.

As an autonomous professional, you are the initial ambassador of Talan's expertise in the market. Your perseverance and active listening skills will transform cold leads into qualified appointments, ensuring pipeline creation and continuous growth of our business units in Canada and United States.

Your mission involves:

Business Development

Conduct multi-channel prospecting activities, including cold calls to targeted clients in Quebec and Canada, to generate interest in Talan's offerings.
Identify, qualify, and track sales leads according to established ICP criteria
Schedule qualified appointments for Sales teams, building an maintaining a consistent and healthy pipeline
Participate into business events in North America to represent Talan and build relationships with potential customers

Operational Excellence and Priority Management

Maintain a high level of daily and weekly activities to meet lead generation objectives, utilizing automation and prospecting tools (LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Zoominfo).
Ensure the CRM (Salesforce or equivalent) is kept up-to-date and maintain quality data, and provide regular reporting on campaign performance.

Customer Orientation and Knowledge Sharing

Adapt messaging and communication based on the interlocutor and strategic information gathered (active listening) to maximize conversion rates.
Contribute to campaign effectiveness by suggesting innovative ideas and participating in the development of GTM strategies, call scripts, and email templates.

Qualifications

Industry Experience: Early career with 1 or 2 years of experience in B2B outbound sales or business development. Experience in information technology is an asset.
Education: BAC in Administration or an equivalent degree.
Comfortable operating in a fast paced industry where continuous learning and innovation are key. Quota driven environment. Coaching and feedback loops are part of our mindset.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency with modern prospecting tools (LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Zoominfo, Outreach) and a CRM (Salesforce or equivalent).
Behavioral Skills: Confidence, dynamism, perseverance, and intellectual curiosity.
Natural interest for AI tools and innovation
This is a remote position involving occasional travels to Montreal.
Communication: good oral and written communication skills, in English, to communicate with clients located across North America.

Développement des affaires

Mener des activités de prospection multicanale, y compris des appels à froid auprès d’une clientèle ciblée au Québec et ailleurs au Canada, afin de susciter de l’intérêt pour les offres de Talan.
Identifier, qualifier et assurer le suivi des pistes de vente selon les critères établis du profil de client idéal (ICP).
Planifier des rendez-vous qualifiés pour les équipes des ventes et maintenir un pipeline constant et sain.
Participer à des événements d’affaires en Amérique du Nord afin de représenter Talan et de développer des relations avec des clients potentiels.

Excellence opérationnelle et gestion des priorités

Maintenir un niveau élevé d’activités quotidiennes et hebdomadaires afin d’atteindre les objectifs de génération de pistes, en utilisant des outils d’automatisation et de prospection comme LinkedIn Sales Navigator et ZoomInfo.
Tenir le CRM, Salesforce ou un outil équivalent, à jour, assurer la qualité des données et produire des rapports réguliers sur le rendement des campagnes.
