Monitor fleet performance, equipment downtime, repair costs and maintenance KPIs.
Work closely with Dispatch and Operations to ensure equipment availability.
Supervise and coordinate mechanics, technicians and external service providers.
Identify recurring mechanical issues and implement preventative solutions.
Provide recommendations to senior management regarding fleet performance, equipment replacement and maintenance improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of fleet maintenance or transportation maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, trailers and transportation equipment.
Previous experience managing preventative maintenance programs and repair schedules.
Knowledge of Ontario MTO, CVOR and NSC requirements.
Experience managing repair vendors, dealerships, mechanics and parts suppliers.
