THE ROLE

The Project Compliance Architect works with clients at the outset of projects to establish project-specific requirements and develop the output specifications that define how the building is to be designed, delivered, operated, maintained, and perform.

Once the design team is engaged, you will oversee compliance with these requirements throughout design development, construction documentation, and construction. Review drawings, specifications, consultant documentation, and construction documents for compliance with established requirements.
Provide technical and architectural oversight throughout design, documentation, CA, and construction.
Identify and resolve compliance issues, deviations, and technical concerns with the project team.
Participate in design reviews, client meetings, construction meetings, site reviews, and project inspections.
Review RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, substitutions, and changes from a compliance perspective.
Ensure the completed project remains aligned with the client's requirements and applicable standards.

Registered Architect in Canada or eligibility for registration.
Proven experience in project compliance or architectural oversight.
Strong technical understanding of architectural design, construction documentation, and building systems.
Experience with Contract Administration and construction-phase services.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills; confident, professional, and well spoken.
