Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Appian Senior Developer with 6–8 years of total experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian low-code platform. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, record-centric applications using Appian best practices and developing SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and integrations.

The candidate should be able to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions while ensuring application performance, security, and scalability.

We are also seeking someone who can lead design discussions, perform code reviews, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and DevOps teams. The role includes supporting deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments, UAT, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian low-code platform.

  • Build scalable, record-centric applications using Appian best practices.
  • Develop SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
  • Lead design discussions and perform code reviews.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Support deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Support UAT, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Ability to support UAT, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managerial Skills - Nice to Have
  • Ability to lead small development teams and own delivery of assigned modules.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers on Appian best practices and design standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and raise issues and escalations proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, and Appian development standards.
  • Support release planning, cutover activities, and post-production stabilization.
  • Provide input on resourcing, technical dependencies, and solution feasibility.
