Mold Setter in

In this position, you will be responsible for
mold changes, machine setup and start-up, troubleshooting, and quality checks on injection molding equipment, directly contributing to the success and operations of our partner company.
Afternoon Shift / Schedule: 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Mold Setter Responsibilities:
- Complete mold changes and setups on Engel injection molding machines ranging from approximately 75 to 600 tons
- Perform approximately 1–2 mold changes per shift, depending on production requirements
- Set up molds, connect required lines and components, and prepare equipment for production
- Complete machine start-up following mold changes and ensure equipment is operating correctly
- Troubleshoot setup, process, and production issues as required
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished parts meet required standards
- Work with a variety of plastic materials, including PVC, ABS, and similar resins
- Safely operate equipment and follow established production and safety procedures
- Work independently while communicating with the Afternoon Shift Supervisor and internal team
- Support production requirements in a lean manufacturing environment
Mold Setter Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in injection molding, mold setting, or a similar hands-on plastics manufacturing role
- Previous experience completing mold changes independently
- Strong experience with injection molding machine setup and start-up
- Experience working with Engel injection molding machines strongly preferred
- Experience with PVC, ABS, or similar plastic materials preferred
- Comfortable working with a range of injection molding machine sizes and tonnages
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to complete quality checks and identify production issues
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently
- Forklift and crane certification are not required upon hire; training will be provided on site
