Director, Director, Digital Platforms & Architecture

JOB SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a Director, Marketing Technology & Digital Platforms to lead the technology ecosystem powering our global marketing and growth engine.

We are seeking a leader who began their career as a software developer, digital engineer, or solution architect and evolved into leading digital platforms, web technologies, marketing technology ecosystems, and vendor-delivered solutions.

A digital technology leader with a strong foundation in digital marketing architecture (not an IT leader), someone who has designed and integrated complex digital ecosystems and evolved into leading technology teams, platforms and transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate may have developed their career in a digital agency environment as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Digital Architect or Technical Director before moving into broader technology leadership, either agency-side or within a sophisticated enterprise digital organization (startups, etc).

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Marketing & Growth Strategy, this leader will define and evolve the global marketing technology architecture, ensuring that our platforms, data and integrations enable our business units to scale their growth activities effectively.

The role sits at the intersection of marketing, digital experience, technology, data and growth. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable defining a technology roadmap, challenging an architecture, working with Product Owners and marketers, managing technology partners, and collaborating with enterprise IT, cybersecurity and enterprise data teams.

REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of experience in digital technology, digital architecture, MarTech, digital platforms or related fields, including significant leadership experience.
Strong early-career foundation in Digital Architecture, Solution Architecture, Digital Engineering or Marketing Technology, rather than traditional enterprise IT infrastructure.
Experience working within a leading digital agency, digital product organization, gaming company, technology-driven consumer organization or sophisticated enterprise digital environment is highly desirable.
Demonstrated progression from hands-on architecture or technical leadership into broader technology and people leadership.
Strong understanding of modern digital architectures, APIs, integrations, cloud-based platforms and data flows.
Deep understanding of Marketing Technology ecosystems, including CRM, marketing automation, CMS/DXP, customer data, analytics and advertising technologies.
Experience designing or transforming complex technology ecosystems involving multiple platforms and business units.
Strong understanding of first-party data strategy and the technology required to activate customer and prospect data.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate technology from both a technical and business-value perspective.
Experience managing technology vendors, agencies and strategic partners.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technology decisions to senior business leaders.

Nous recherchons un(e) leader en technologies numériques possédant une solide expertise en architecture de marketing numérique (et non un profil principalement orienté TI traditionnelle). Cette personne doit avoir conçu et intégré des écosystèmes numériques complexes avant d’évoluer vers des rôles de direction responsables d’équipes technologiques, de plateformes et d’initiatives de transformation.

Le ou la candidat(e) idéal(e) pourrait avoir développé sa carrière au sein d’une agence numérique à titre d’Architecte de solutions, Architecte technique, Architecte numérique ou Directeur(trice) technique, avant de progresser vers des fonctions élargies de leadership technologique, que ce soit en agence ou au sein d’une organisation numérique d’entreprise sophistiquée (startups, entreprises technologiques, etc.).

Relevant du ou de la Vice-président(e), Marketing mondial et stratégie de croissance, cette personne définira et fera évoluer l’architecture mondiale des technologies marketing afin d’assurer que les plateformes, les données et les intégrations permettent aux différentes unités d’affaires de développer efficacement leurs initiatives de croissance.

Ce rôle se situe à l’intersection du marketing, de l’expérience numérique, de la technologie, des données et de la croissance. La personne retenue sera tout aussi à l’aise pour définir une feuille de route technologique, remettre en question des choix d’architecture, travailler avec les propriétaires de produits et les équipes marketing, gérer des partenaires technologiques, et collaborer étroitement avec les équipes TI, de cybersécurité et de gestion des données d’entreprise.

· Plus de 10 ans d’expérience dans les domaines des technologies numériques, de l’architecture numérique, du MarTech, des plateformes numériques ou d’un secteur connexe, incluant une expérience significative en gestion.

· Solide expérience acquise en début de carrière dans des fonctions liées à l’architecture numérique, à l’architecture de solutions, à l’ingénierie numérique ou aux technologies marketing, plutôt qu’en infrastructures TI traditionnelles.

· Une expérience au sein d’une agence numérique de premier plan, d’une organisation de produits numériques, d’une entreprise du secteur du jeu vidéo, d’une organisation grand public axée sur la technologie ou d’un environnement d’entreprise numérique avancé constitue un atout important.

· Parcours démontrant une progression d’un rôle d’architecte ou de leader technique vers des responsabilités élargies en gestion de la technologie et des équipes.

· Excellente compréhension des architectures numériques modernes, des API, des intégrations, des plateformes infonuagiques et des flux de données.

· Connaissance approfondie des écosystèmes de technologies marketing, notamment les CRM, les plateformes d’automatisation marketing, les CMS/DXP, les données clients, les outils analytiques et les technologies publicitaires.

· Expérience dans la conception ou la transformation d’écosystèmes technologiques complexes impliquant plusieurs plateformes et unités d’affaires.

· Bonne compréhension des stratégies de données de première partie (first-party data) et des technologies nécessaires à l’exploitation des données clients et prospects.
