CONTRACT - Team Lead Web - Software Development

12 weeks mandat

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Team Lead who wants to be at the center of a major technological transformation for one of our client’s core applications. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will spend most of your time writing code and contributing directly as an engineer, while also guiding your team’s technical direction, delivery, and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively manage delivery: identify risks early, remove blockers, and keep the team aligned with commitments
Own the team’s delivery approach - velocity, quality, and processes - and provide transparent progress updates
Align the team around priorities, goals, and the reasoning behind them
Contribute hands-on (50–60%): write code, review code, and deliver direct technical value
Own technical decisions within the team’s scope, ensuring strong design, thoughtful trade-offs, and long-term maintainability
Drive engineering health: define and advocate for tech-debt remediation; ensure reliability, performance, and scalability
Manage 3–5 engineers: set expectations, provide coaching, and address performance when needed
Foster a culture of ownership, initiative, and engineering excellence
Participate in hiring: lead technical evaluations and provide input on fit

REQUIREMENTS

University degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Team Lead Web - Software Development
Strong engineering foundation and senior-level experience
A proven track record delivering in complex production environments
Experience leading or mentoring engineers; comfortable giving direct feedback
A product mindset focused on solving real user problems
High ownership and initiative - someone who drives change rather than waiting for direction
Creative, questioning, and willing to challenge the status quo
Excellent communication and alignment skills
Experience with performance, reliability, or distributed systems (a plus)
Comfort with modern AI-assisted development workflows and GenAI tooling
Nice to Have – Knowledge of Python, React, React Native, Polymer, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Jenkins, Datadog, AWS, GenAI coding tools, AI-assisted development environments.

Nous recherchons un Chef d’Équipe qui souhaite jouer un rôle central dans une transformation technologique majeure portant sur l’une des applications clés de notre client. Il s’agit d’un rôle de leadership actif : vous passerez la majorité de votre temps à écrire du code et à contribuer directement en tant qu’ingénieur, tout en dirigeant l’orientation technique, la livraison et le développement de votre équipe.

RESPONSABILITÉS

Gérer proactivement la livraison : identifier les risques tôt, lever les obstacles et maintenir l’équipe alignée sur ses engagements
Être responsable de la qualité des livrables, de la vélocité et des processus de l’équipe, avec visibilité claire sur l’avancement
Aligner l’équipe sur les priorités, les objectifs et les raisons qui les motivent
Contribuer directement (50–60%) : écrire du code, faire des revues et livrer de la valeur technique
Prendre les décisions techniques dans le périmètre de l’équipe, en maintenant un haut niveau d’exigence pour la conception et la maintenabilité

EXIGENCES

Diplôme universitaire en informatique, génie logiciel ou domaine connexe (ou expérience équivalente).
Minimum 5 ans d’expérience en tant que Chef d’équipe Web - Développement Logiciel
Solide expérience technique et niveau sénior confirmé
Expérience avérée dans des environnements de production complexes
À l’aise dans le coaching, le feedback direct et la gestion de conversations difficiles
Vision produit : l’ingénierie au service de la résolution de problèmes utilisateurs
