Original job description
We are seeking experienced Senior Camunda Architects for opportunities within GTA. The ideal candidates will combine deep Camunda expertise with strong architecture, integration and technical leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise workflow and process orchestration solutions using Camunda.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solutions using BPMN and DMN.
- Define integration patterns connecting Camunda with enterprise applications, APIs and microservices.
- Establish standards for process modelling, development, deployment and governance.
- Design for performance, scalability, security, resilience and operational monitoring.
- Guide development teams through implementation, architecture reviews and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams and enterprise architects to drive successful delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in solution architecture, with strong hands-on Camunda implementation expertise.
- Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN and business process automation.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture and messaging technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Camunda 8 and Zeebe.
- Experience with Camunda platform upgrades or migrations.
- Camunda certification and experience delivering solutions in banking or other regulated environments.
