Role and Responsibilities
- Strong data warehouse technical knowledge.
- Strong banking and financial services domain experience with demonstrated expertise in data warehouse and cloud data platform implementations.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows on AWS.
- Build and manage data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift).
- Develop ETL/ELT processes using tools such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, or Apache Spark.
- Strong solution knowledge in AWS Cloud and hands-on experience with ETL processes, including Kafka message processing, batch interface data ingestion, and other business-layer processes.
- Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
- Work with stakeholders to understand and deliver data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.
- Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve performance, cost optimization, and scalability.
- Coordinate with clients, data users, and key stakeholders to understand feature requirements and merge them into reusable design patterns.
- Support data onboarding using developed frameworks.
- Analyze and understand existing IBM Netezza code to design and implement equivalent capabilities within an AWS Data Lake environment.
- Perform unit testing and support QA, SIT, and performance testing activities.
- Support migration activities to the production environment.

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
