Role Description:

DevOps Engineer

ADO Platform Ownership - establish standards and configurations for Azure DevOps and related tools; set and maintain the roadmap for DevSecOps services.

Engineering and Development - develop pipelines, integrations, and other tools and automations.

DevSecOps Leadership - Develop and inculcate best practices and patterns for DevSecOps; advise development, operations, and other technology teams on incorporating DevSecOps tools and practices in their work.

Reporting and Analysis - Produce and analyze metrics for DevSecOps process visibility and improvement.

You can demonstrate experience with: Azure DevOps use and engineering, including work item processes, pipelines, code branching and management, ADO agents, and reporting.

You engineered applications on Azure environments, including App Service and Azure SQL, and integrated with ITSM tools, code scanners, and similar systems.

It’s an Asset if: You have experience with GitHub, JIRA, Power Platform, and containerization/Kubernetes; technical certifications are a plus.

Must have strong experience in Azure cloud.

Strong SQL Database/SQL MI understanding, being able to explain how its different from On-Prem (hint: connection strings, managed identities again, etc.)

Good to have - Graph API knowledge, being able to explain steps to enable authentication, and use Client Rest API.

Good to have - Open API knowledge, being able to explain steps to create, use, document and consume.

Good communication / organizational skills to understand and discuss development requirement.

Experience with approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per annum
